Satisfying the funder's checklist is one requirement, not the whole purpose of impact measurement. The real job is building evidence your own team can use to improve over time, not just prove you did what you said you'd do.

Evidence systems should shift power toward the people closest to the work, not just document their lives for someone reading a report thousands of miles away.

If a report or tool isn't something someone actually opens and uses again, it's not evidence; it's decoration. Everything I build has to survive contact with an actual busy person.

You don't need a research institute's budget to have evidence that holds up. You need the right question, asked properly, and the discipline to act on the answer.
